During its Presidency of the EU, the Dutch government in conjunction with private partners, will organise for the first time a European TEDx event. This special edition will take place in The Hague on 31 March 2016 and feature ground-breaking ideas from Europe's most inspiring entrepreneurs.

The search for ideas from Europe worth spreading will be done via national selections and auditions in all EU countries.
 
All the national candidates will be invited to Luxembourg to the SME Assembly in November 2015. There they will present their idea and compete for the attention and support of the audience.
 
On 31 March 2016, the 10 best ideas (one selected via an online public vote) will be voiced on the TEDxBinnenhof Made in Europe stage.
 
Entrepreneurs - from start-ups, through re-starters to the well-established SMEs - with ideas that deserve to take the world stage are invited to enter the competition.
